Inclusive Leadership in Governance: Presentations Now Available
New this week on the PHESC website: slides and scripts for two short presentations on inclusive leadership in governance. These presentations from the Alliance for Healthier Communities are designed to be used with groups, including Boards of Health. There is also an extensive resource package (posted separately).

Ramadan Mubarak! PHESC wishes all our Muslim partners and readers a productive fast.
For non-Muslims, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Ramadan fasting started May 6 and will end around June 4 (depending on local sighting of the new moon)
- Use an active offer approach: ask fasting colleagues and clients if they'd like any accommodations -- for example, booking meetings or appointments earlier in the day

This 2010 paper in the National Collaborating Centre for Methods and Tools' repository outlines a way for public health practitioners to communicate effectively with those who may not be as familiar with scientific research and evidence.
